The goal of our institute, NEO, is to produce a citizen to the society who is replete with skills and capabilities which will be able to cater the needs of the future world ,based on the Sri Lankan culture and religious social environment.

Our institute was established in 2007 with only 11 students at 296b , Hospital roadd, Galaha as NEO Preschool. The dedication and the tremendous service provided by the initial teacher Mrs. Suvineetha who was from Gurukele area should be admirably mentioned with respect.

In 2008, the present administratrix of the Preschool , Mrs. R.W. Sujani Thalatha Kumarihamy took over the duties and since then the institute has been upgrading itself as a leading Early Childhood Development Centre in the area for more than 12 years with the knowledge, capabilities, skills and the strategically competency of the administration.

The reliability of parents towards us grew with the qualitative development of the institute , resulting a significant increase of admissions of students by the year 2018. It was a great achievement that we were able to win the third place at the competition of Productivity among Early Childhood Development Centers in Kandy District in 2018.

The population of our institute has increased up to 120 students and 6 teachers by the year 2019. The great support rendered by all the members of the staff , parents and the government and non -government institutions that are in corporate with us should be appreciated.

And also considering about the continuous requests of the parents, we decided to start the NEO International School in English medium in 2019 with 15 admissions to the initial grade 1 class. At present we are conducting grade 1,2 and three successfully and we hope to proceed up to Grade 11 gradually.

We are proud to state that all the members of the staff are either graduates or Diploma holders and retired government school teachers. And also 90 % of the students who get through cut off marks in grade 5 scholarship in the schools of the area are the ones who gained the Early childhood education from the talented staff of our institute.

As a leading educational institute , we not only provide knowledge and competencies but also lead our students towards practicing humanity in order to provide them with a quality education. The welfare society of NEO annually organize blood donation camps , releasing cattle , awareness programs, providing financial support to children who undergo surgeries and also other religious activities such as sill campaigns, alms giving and Vesak decorations.

Through all these we hope to build up a balanced , competent and efficient personality in all the little children who leave our institution to be a useful citizen in the future.
